Mm. I’ve been seeing people post their full images lately ; v ; I’m a little embarrassed to post full image really, but I just wanted to post up a bigger version of spots I liked. I have a lot of mixed feelings for this drawing. There’s a lot of things I really like, but I almost feel ashamed of how it all came together. I had so much trouble trying to meet the size requirements. I draw so small… > n <
I wanted to try to manipulate the mood of the drawing with the colours, but I’m not really sure if I was successful. I think in future projects, I’ll just do safer things.

  6. Free Sketch Requests! →

    Hey everyone!

I’m giving out FREE SKETCH REQUESTS to anyone who shares my Facebook page!

This means sharing on Facebook btw. I’m not necessarily saying you won’t get a free request if you share it on Tumblr for instance but you’ll probably going to have to message/badger me about it (it’s much harder to keep track of that sort of thing here than on Facebook).

See the latest status on the Facebook page (via the link above) for more details and an example of the sort of sketch I’m offering.

(I will quickly specify that I’m not comfortable drawing anything that could be considered NSFW on this occasion).

It would mean a lot to me if you could spread it around.

    Face Tutorial by Phobs

Phobs says this is outdated but personally it’s one of my favorite tutorials. » It’s pretty much the reason I developed a style.

    It’s… yeah. It’s everything I wish I could achieve in a face.

  10. Oh my God Illustrator.
This program just feels like it was made by freaking baboons or something!
The simplest stuff is just so difficult and fiddly to do.
All I want, all I want, is to colour her eyes with white. Why is that so hard?
How do I make a white shape with the pen tool and position it between the line work and the base colour? Whenever I live paint it won’t fill to a separate layer, it just merges everything! Why anyone would want that function in an editing digital art program outside of just being able to click a merge layer button themselves is completely beyond me.
There has GOT to be a way. I mean this is ridiculous!
I’ve tried everything I can think of (no the bring to front function doesn’t work) and I can’t find any useful tutorials that answer my question. I have found I can do it with the knife tool but it just doesn’t give me enough control. And I could theoretically do it if I made all the colours shapes but CHRIST that would take ages if this was a bigger piece.
Please help.
