His expression is different, in a way that would cause his nose to stretch (your nose doesn’t stay still when you smile or frown etc) and his head is turned more in the coloured image.  Plus the more desaturated image is probably relatively old compared to the more up to date coloured image of him; he’s likely to have changed a bit. Seriously, looks like the same guy, I think you’re getting paranoid over really tiny, easily explainable, things.
